Info4Education from Accuris

First created on Friday, 14 June 2024

There is an unresolved issue with this SP, in that they are unable to support the eduPersonTargetedID attribute to offer personalisation to users in their service, and are requiring IdP operators to release attributes containing personal information such as mail, givenName and sn to access the service. This requires passing of personal information about users, which Jisc believe is unnecessary and not in the spirit of our Technical Recommendations for Participants or our recommendations for use of personal data within the federation. The Trust and Identity team (supporting the UK federation) and Jisc Collections are continuing discussions related to this matter, and with the service provider.

Info4Education is the Accuris education platform providing access to standards, regulatory, product and supplier information on construction, health and safety and engineering from organisations across the world.

UNiDAYS from MyUNiDAYS Ltd

First created on Tuesday, 28 June 2011

UNiDAYS is an exciting resource for FE and HE students delivering money saving advice, student-only promotions and networking opportunities. For UK federation members, the UNiDAYS service should be accessed via VerifID, this should be transparent to end-users. Identity Providers within the UK federation should not exchange metadata directly with UNiDAYS and our metadata publications reflect this situation. For participants in other federation via eduGAIN, your local federation may have other arrangements in place for access to UNiDAYS. The UK federation exports a UNiDAYS service provider with entityID https://verify-a.myunidays.com/shibboleth to the eduGAIN to support access for non-UK participants.
