UK federation supporting education technology startups

One of our members, Knodium, was mentioned in the Guardian yesterday: “Are edutech startups plugging an innovation gap in our universities?” (see http://gu.com/p/3em6d/tw)

Knodium ( http://www.knodium.com) is an online open platform that allows students and tutors to connect and study together. Users authenticate using the UK access management federation. It’s a good example of how the UK federation can help startups in the HE and FE sectors by providing secure authenticated access by staff and students at UK universities and FE colleges.
