Connecting people to resources
JISC and Becta today announced the launch of the UK Access Management Federation. The Federation represents the centrepiece of JISC and Becta's significant investment in developing and implementing next generation access management systems based on Shibboleth technology, on behalf of the UK education and research community.

Shibboleth Service Provider Security Advisory

ProtectNetwork

Typekey

The federation now includes an identity provider that allows TypeKey identities to be accessed within the federation. TypeKey is an open access, free identity service developed by Six Apart, Inc.

Metaleth Project

Metaleth, an early adopter project based at the University of Bristol, has joined the federation as an Identity Provider.
