We prefer to use the eduPersonScopedAffiliation attribute but will also support no attributes and authenticate only on the EntityId of the IdP, depending on the requirements of each IdP. To clarify, we make use of the eduPersonScopedAffiliation attribute, but it is not required.
This service is available for subscription to UK HE, FE & research councils through JISC Collections.
