The following text is for guidance only. 'Organisation1' is the organisation which wishes to outsource a service. 'Organisation2' (a member of the UK federation) is the organisation which is willing to run the service for Organisation1.
Note that a letter of application need only be sent to the UK federation operator where the entityID of the SP entity to be used to run the service has a domain name which belongs to Organisation1 rather than to Organisation2.
Note that the letter must be on Organisation1’s letterhead, and posted to the federation operator.
