Application to use the OpenAthens service as an
outsourced Identity Provider
If a member organisation of the UK federation wishes to make use of Eduserv's OpenAthens service as an outsourced identity provider, an Athens administrator in the member organisation should follow the steps described on this Eduserv web page
They will also need to contact the UK federation and inform them that they intend to subscribe to OpenAthens.
Guidance is provided here for an organisation which has been using the Eduserv OpenAthens service but now wishes to move to using its own Shibboleth IdP.
